Symptoms which are provoked by prostate gland enlargement are called prostatitis. All these symptoms are caused by narrowing of urethra part which goes across enlarged prostate. Besides the function of urinary bladder is inadequate, it’s got tired of pushing urine through this narrow part. More and more urine called residual remains in the bladder. Pay attention to the fact that the level of acraturesis does not depend on the level of prostatitis. It means that even the smallest adenoma may provoke a full retention of urine. It may be explained by the adenoma growth.

Prostatitis combines the following symptoms:

  • frequent urination
  • impossibility to keep urine
  • faint  urine stream
  • night urination
  • not full bladder emptying
  • urine dripping after urination

One of the most frequent complications of chronic retention of urine in bladder is urine infection. It results in pains, scalding, and temperature rise.  Sometimes infection comes up along ureters and strikes kidneys. The most dangerous complications of infection are sepsis and shock.
